As a matter of fact, I happen to agree with him on the four items listed

Eclectic, Blankenship is betting that most West Virginian's feel the same way. He claims that his private polling indicates that he is correct. I think his polls are right. Not sure which four issues you focused on. His web site lists 5. 1) Food Tax abolish, 2) Lawsuit reform, 3) Parental approval for abortion, 4) Drunk drivers should be taken off the roads, and 5) more severe penalties for sex offenders.
It will be interesting to see who disagrees with all of this. In Harrison County, I think our incumbents will tell us that the devil is in the details and that they voted against this and that bill because of either party leadership prefering another bill or the bill contained something onerous that caused them to vote against it. As I recall, I think Tim Miley may have been the only incumbent in Harrison County to vote in favor of parental notification for abortion. Yet his vote may have offended Blankenship on some other issues. I think the other 3 indcumbents have similar mix of issues. It will be interesting to see how he plays this out in Harrison county.

I was in agreement with 1-4 and I agree with 5 also. Have we always had this sexual predator problem and it has been unexposed or is the predator problem a new thing. We need to find the root causes and try to do something positive about the causes or we are going to have 1/4 of the population locked up
