May 17, 2006

(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Incumbent Robert Byrd could earn a new term as one of West Virginia’s representatives to the United States Senate, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 57 per cent of respondents in the Mountain State would vote for the Democratic politician, while 34 per cent would support Republican rival John Raese.

Wake up West Virginia (and Byrd)! When are we "hill billies" going to stop electing people to congress who don't live in our state. John Raese is an opportunist, a millionare and lives in FLA, not the kind of person who represents my values here in N. Central WV. And for Bob Byrd he's a millionare too, self made. Funny how being a congressman for 30+ years will do that for ya.

In my opinion, Bob Byrd can be Senator for as long as he wants to. Special Thanks and prayers to you, Senator Byrd.
