Lost Creek Boy Drafted by Minors
With the 3rd overall pick, the Grizzlies selected outfielder Jerred Novotny. Novotny, a 6-5, 225-pound right-handed hitter, hails from Lost Creek, WV. He played his college baseball at Division II Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, WV.

We also have a retired 4-Star General in Doddridge County!
I vaguely remember him. He was on active duty at the time. Do you recall his name?
