The Trashiest Place in Harrison County

Unbelievable! It is the Track and Football field at RCB High School. It makes Spelter look pretty! Trash was piled up under the bleachers, on the stands, and blowing across the football field. Who is in charge out there? Ask the Bridgeport High School folks what Jesus would do! RCB HS may have to lose the Eagle mascot and adopt a Pig. Shame on them! Bridgeport High School's new mascot should be. "The Martyrs" - they'll die for the constitutional sins of the Board of Education!

Gundovald,I respect your right to claim that is the Track and Football field at RCB High School
that is the trashiest place in the County. I respect your right to make that statement.I would fight to the death to defend that right. However I must disagree with you. I think Dog Run Road at The Salem Water Resevoir is the trashiest place in Harrison County. People have dumped old tires,TV sets.Deer carcusus and trash galore. People drink this water. The DNR officer has driven by many times,he just keeps on going. I can remember a time when they would get out of their jeeps and search for addresses on magazines ect to try and hunt down the dumpers, not anymore. They drive around all day then when they get back to the command post and read E-mails, what a waste of tax payer money. They need to do their jobs
and find out who is creating these messes and fine them or drag their asses out there and make them clean it up.

Judy, thank you for your comment. I always thought that was a road with a pretty view of the lake and evergreens. There may have been a time before the era of the regional jail, when low-risk prisoners had an opportunity to get some fresh air and provide a pick-up service for the community.
We see a lot of that kind of dumping in different areas. It would be great to catch the SOBs.

A friend emailed me recently to tell me that instead of her usual morning workout, she chose to go to an eyesore trash pile that she felt was offensive to her neighborhood, with trash bags in hand, and clean it up. It was very spiritually fulfilling to her to have done something positive for her neighbors. Hummmmmm... she just might be on to something here. Multiply that one person times 100 and what a difference we could make. Or.... we can just blog it.

If I could just find a bag large enough for a TV set and a couple
R-15X132 tires now I good have that heavenly experience as well.
Ohh what a feeling!!! Naa I think I will just call the county and get their lazy ass's to do the job we are paying them to do. Or maybe a few of these Mexicans will do it for them and they can sit back at the office and complain about how some illegal alien is takeing their job.

Salem actually had several of those inmates out here cleaning up trash and cutting brush last year.
So give them a chance maybe they will come back this spring. I think the State should put up a deer-cam or something to catch these people. I thought we had solved the creating of dumps in the county long aga.

Actually I think downtown Salem is coming closer to becoming the trashiest place if they don't get that pile of rubbish cleaned up soon.
