Officials say yes to raises

Charleston Daily Mail: "Under the law, elected officials must decide whether or not to accept the pay raise. Officials must accept the raise in writing by June 30 for it to be granted."

It appears the Harrison County Commissioners have said "NO" to a pay raise. Oh ....by the way .... these Commissioners seem to be working full time!

How about the County Assessor? Should she get her 20% raise?

No we will vote vote her out of office for not doing her job. She has waited for years to do this then all of a sudden we all get a big Tax increase.
Let's send Ms Romano packing.

I assume you all saw front page Sunday paper ???? Does anyone know why Ms. Romano has such an ax to grind??? She has beat the horse to death and then some. She pitched her point once, twice, several times,now she should get over it and do what the community elected her to do???? And I don't think that is to take cheap shots at those who are trying to do good for our community, county, and state? Bye, Bye, Cher Cher.
